The purpose of the TechnAlim project was to train company employees in the unit operations of the food industry. The manufacture of several families of products was broached (beer, chocolate, sugars and derivatives etc.) as were the main categories of processes: pasteurisation, atomization, freeze-drying, ultrafiltration, sterilization, fermentation, cooking-extrusion etc. Developments in manufacturing lines under automation  were also covered. The programme ended in 2013.
