The “Smart Sensors 4 Agri-food” Smart Specialization Thematic Partnership draws on the expertise of over 40 partners (clusters and research centers) from 17 regions dedicated to supporting the digital transformation of the agri-food industry. By connecting skills across European regions, partners and their members and stakeholders will benefit from shared knowledge with the aim of accelerating adoption and transformation towards a digital agri-food system and, in so doing, fostering the evolution of the agri-food sector towards an interconnected, sustainable, resilient and intelligent agri-food system in Europe.
Objectives
Supporting all agri-food businesses to make the leap to Industry 5.0 so that the agri-food sector evolves towards an interconnected, resilient and intelligent agri-food system in Europe. To achieve this, we have set up a “digital innovation ecosystem” across Europe that supports the agri-food industry in its digital transformation journey by facilitating the development of and access to applicable solutions. These solutions will drive the sector towards greater resilience with sustainable products and productivity.
