grains<\/li>\n<li>Apple pomace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These raw materials were chosen because of their availability in Wallonia and their potential for the development of new food products or functional ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Activities and results<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Several key actions are expected from this project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Literature reviews<\/strong> on methods for <strong>stabilising<\/strong> and <strong>adding value<\/strong> to by-products.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pre-feasibility laboratory tests<\/strong>, in collaboration with Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech (ULi\u00e8ge) and Celabor, to assess processing and stabilisation processes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Regulatory analyses<\/strong> to identify legal obstacles to the marketing of by-products.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sizing of facilities\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong> study of energy requirements<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Supply chain study<\/strong>, in collaboration with Logistics In Wallonia.<\/li>\n<li><strong>BtoB market studies<\/strong> to understand companies&#8217;
