{"id":34156,"date":"2025-03-26T14:57:09","date_gmt":"2025-03-26T13:57:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wagralim.be\/nos-projets-innovation\/pro-immunitum\/"},"modified":"2025-03-26T15:11:03","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T14:11:03","slug":"pro-immunitum","status":"publish","type":"dt_portfolio","link":"https:\/\/www.wagralim.be\/en\/nos-projets-innovation\/pro-immunitum\/","title":{"rendered":"PRO IMMUNITUM"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>\u201cStudy of the impact of probiotics on the development of immunity\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Pro Immunitum project is a multi-disciplinary project that is part of a <strong>preventive approach to developing an effective immune system<\/strong>; an approach that is a major societal consequence of the Covid19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>During the course of the project, a pilot study to measure the <strong>effects of the probiotic strain Lacticaseibacillusrhamnosus Imupronat\u00ae<\/strong> on the development of good immunity will be carried out by ULB&#8217;s Laboratory of Experimental Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>The ULB Institute of Medical Immunology and the UMONS Laboratory of Metabolic and Molecular Biochemistry will study <strong>the impact of this probiotic<\/strong> on specific markers of immunity and metabolism, using samples taken from mothers and their children.<\/p>\n<p>Superbiotics will develop production processes that preserve the long-term metabolic stability of the probiotic strain, as well as an <strong>innovative formulation<\/strong> that can be easily industrialized. The new product will enable Superbiotics to expand its commercial activities in the growing segment of high value-added dietary supplements.
