However, the need to find new methods of herd management is the same, in order to guarantee sustainable profitability and optimal resource management.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, the PreCowGest project aims to improve bovine reproduction management by developing innovative tools. It focuses on the development of a test for early diagnosis of gestation and embryonic mortality, as well as on the development of a predictive model for insemination success to anticipate the chances of successful insemination. These tools will make it possible to reduce the time needed to obtain a pregnancy, thereby reducing the economic losses associated with reproductive failure.<\/p>\n<p>This project will have multiple repercussions. Environmentally, it will optimize the use of natural resources and reduce the carbon footprint of livestock farming. Economically, it will reduce costs for breeders through more efficient herd management. Socially, it will improve working conditions and support local economies by creating jobs in Wallonia.
