Caroline earned a Bioengineering degree (specializing in Food Science and Technology) in 2008 (Catholic University of Louvain). She then earned a PhD on aspects of cellular biochemistry and environmental toxicology at the Institute of Life Sciences (Catholic University of Louvain). At the same time, she provided guidance and support for thesis projects in courses given in the Faculty of Bioengineering. In 2014, Caroline joined the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Research (Catholic University of Louvain) for a post-doc programme as Junior Business Developer. She contributed towards the commercialization of the results from a research project in oncology, while training in industrial pharmacy. Caroline joined Wagralim in 2016 as a Nutrition & Safety Advisor for the Keyfood platform.
