FOOD TECHNOLOGY
Training courses developed within the framework of the WagrALIM Cluster by the IFP, Vocational Training Organisation, enabling workers in the sector to improve their skills in the areas of food products, food technology principles and foodstuff production/manufacture/packaging processes. In conjunction with each company, the IFP will call on a wide range of national and international trainers: skill centres focusing on the foodstuffs industry (FormAlim) or associated with it (Epicuris, Cefochim), university departements, independent experts, graduate schools, international trainers, food technology practical training unit in France, etc.Goal
To provide training for workers enabling them:
- on the one hand, to acquire the basic knowledge of the raw materials used and how they are processed in foodstuffs.
- on the other hand, to master all or some of the new technologies and new processes used in the sector.
Target audience
Some modules requiring a certain level of knowledge are aimed at those responsible for production, quality, R&D, etc. Operators in the production or processing sector can access to theoretical and practical training courses, organised in the workshop units and on the training equipment of FormAlim or in the food technology practical training unit in Dijon. Finally, the training courses at Epicuris are aimed mainly at craftsmen en the food sector.
