The Cluster works with its members to set their projects up and helps with communication with public authorities. It offers a range of services to make sure projects are sustained, helping with communication, internationalisation and information (market research, monitoring etc).
Project sponsors have benefitted from facilities and skills to which they could not have access individually. They can also be eligible for specific funding for Walloon Centres of Excellence, as well as the maximum funding for research projects (100 % grant for university research) and supplementary investment grants (maximum contribution rate).
Essentially, the aim is to create a network of representatives from universities and industries, encourage patent registrations, prepare scientific publications and of course help businesses to grow and create new businesses.
The various members can access new areas of technological expertise and benefit from exchanging knowledge in a context where intellectual property rights are respected.
Please note that projects labellized by the Walloon Region are NOT the only way to finance your project. There are probably other solutions more adapted to your situation. If you have ideas and problems to finance them, please contact us and we'll do our best to find some solutions.
